The Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA") defines a "Child" as anyone under the age of 13. MD NOW strictly adheres to COPPA. This site is not intended for children. We will not knowingly collect "personal information" from persons who identify themselves as being under the age of 13 without prior verifiable consent of that person's parent or guardian.

Information Collected

MD NOW collects information from our users through our public Web Site via our Feedback Form and our Job Application Form. Our public Web Site provides information about MD NOW and allows users to contact us online.

The information collected on our Web Site falls into two categories: (1) information voluntarily submitted, and (2) information gathered via electronic means.

Information Voluntarily Submitted

You can visit the MD NOW Web site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. MD NOW gathers "personally identifiable information" if you voluntarily submit inquiries to us through our feedback form.

The types of personally identifiable information voluntarily submitted on our Web Site may include your name, company, address, city, state, zip, phone, fax, and email addresses. You can always choose not to provide personally identifiable information, but if you do not provide such information, we may not be able to fully respond to your inquiry.

Job Applications

W hen you apply for a job through our website, you are providing personal information related to the job application procedure, including in many instances a copy of your resume. Your personal information is received directly by members of our Staff, and is shared only with relevant MD NOW and Behavioral Health Resources staff members on a need-to-know basis. In the event that we need to follow-up with your job references, we will ask you for permission to do so beforehand. All personal information is kept in a secure database on our internal private network.

Information Gathered via Electronic Means

We track visiting domains, internet addresses of the domains from which people visit us to track a user's session and the user's browser also lets us know the type of computer and operating system being used. This allows us to analyze the information as to which parts of our site users spend their time and their length of stay but does not give us any personal information about the user. Specifically, a user's session will be tracked, but the user will be anonymous.

Cookies

In some parts of the Web Sites we use cookies, which are bits of information that are stored on your computer when you visit a Web Site. Cookies allow the Web Site to recognize you and, among other things, load your page more quickly. You can remove cookies from your computer if you want; your browser's help feature can tell you how. If you do so, please note that some parts of the Web Sites, may not function properly.

Information Sharing

MD NOW and Behavioral Health Resources, Inc. are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Any personal information submitted will only be used by our Staff that are on a need-to-know basis and will be used only for the purpose for which the information submitted was intended.

In addition, you should be aware that some administrative personnel of MD NOW and Behavioral Health Resources, Inc. may in the course of their regular duties, have access to communications for technical or operational purposes.
